Mizuho Corporate Bank Was Approved to Set up Branch in Wuhan

The other day, Wuhan branch of Mizuho Corporate Bank China was approved to set up by China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC). Up to now, foreign banks set up in Hubei have reached 4, ranking 1st in the western and central China.
Mizuho Corporate Bank is Japanese second largest bank, with the starting capital of its Wuhan branch being RMB100m, the business of Wuhan branch covers western and central China’s Hubei, Sichuan, Chongqing city and Jiangxi.
Mizuho Corporate Bank is well-known for being robust with large enterprises as main business. In recent years, Japanese-invested enterprises in Hubei have reached more than 180 with total investment of USD3.8b. Prior to this, a dozen of Japanese-invested enterprises in Wuhan had been the clients of Mizuho Corporate Bank China, and the clients of Sichuan, Chongqing and Jiangxi will also be allocated to Wuhan branch.
